Slide out table

There are many ways you can do a table in a van conversion and we have seen them all. But this sliding table must be one of the best.

It’s simple, stored logically under the bed without taking up much space and fits across the seating area perfectly. It’s one of the smartest versions we have seen in a long time.

The feeling of space

There’s a lot you can do to make a van interior seem larger, one of them is using architectural tricks to draw the eye.

This simple but very effective trick using lengths of timber not only provides a lovely feel and visual interest, but it also makes the van seem much longer. The Ford Transit isn’t exactly small, but this changes the game!

Bed done differently

We typically see beds as fold-out seats or over storage, but rarely do we see a fold-down bed. This isn’t the most space efficient but it certainly makes a statement.

Using a strong hinge and clever carpentry, this van owner has added a spacious prep area at the back of their Ford Transit and it looks great.

Interior design is now all about layered textures, mixing colours in clever ways to make a space feel like home. Why not do that with your Ford Transit camper conversion?

It doesn’t have to be complex or expensive, as this version shows. Add a skylight for extra daylight and you have somewhere you can’t wait to escape to!
