Sliding storage is a classic vanlife storage idea. It’s a simple way to manage interior space while delivering the storage you need for longer trips.

Plywood is your friend here, especially for DIY van conversion projects as it’s very easy to work with, like with this long sliding storage option. How would this look in your camper van?

Simple but effective organisation

If you’re experienced with van life, you’ll know how annoying it is to drive along with the noise of crockery clattering in your ears. It’s enough to make you switch to wood or plastic, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

This ingenious method of holding crockery in place minimises noise and ensures there isn’t enough room for anything to move or get damaged.
