I would highly recommend The Motorhome Workshop. I wanted to replace my old gas powered Truma boiler for a new diesel powered Truma D4E. Truma themselves said that it could not be done in my Motorhome space. However the can do attitude of the guys at The Motorhome Workshop proved that it could be done and without any alterations to the van. The new boiler works seamlessly and the phone control with the iNetX is a game changer from my old system. Massive thanks to the whole team and I will definitely be going to the Motorhome Workshop for any future upgrades.

Campervan was displaying error code on Truma 6E Control panel, meaning no heating and no hot water. Was fitted in for a consultation the day after I rang, everyone very pleasant, problem was diagnosed very speedily as fault with the control panel. They had one in stock so replaced and everything working again. So excellent service, charged for just 1 hours labour plus the parts, so very, very happy!

Where do we begin. We had researched for weeks if not months for a reliable and trust worthy company to educate us on what we needed for our motorhome. We had limited knowledge of what we need however we knew what travelling we wanted to do. From the very first call Tom was patient, informative and extremely helpful. We felt that a face to face meeting would help us to understand and decide what we needed. Once again Tom took the time to explain our options and within minutes we had our quote. We instantly knew we had confidence in Tom. Today we have collected “Burty” and he’s new solar panel, battery, Wi-Fi and gaslow system. We had the pleasure of meeting Ian who explained the information we needed to understand our new additions. Thank you and the rest of the team too for making a big decision for us so easy and simple. Burty is now perfect to pack and go. THANK YOU

The Sunstore team fitted a new 3Way fridge for us a few weeks ago. The fridge was performing very erratically. Thankfully Tom took a personal interest in our case and he managed to navigate a way through what was initially limited advice from the manufacturers helpdesk to speak with a member of the manufacturers engineering team and instigate a solution which appears to have resolved the issue. The Sunstore proactive intervention has thus avoid what was heading towards being a complicated warranty claim. We cannot thank Tom and his team enough for sorting. As the first point of contact, Edward in the Sunstore office is super helpful. Rick & Debs

AWS Approved Workshop

We can supply and fit a range of roof vents to motorhomes, campervans, caravans and all kinds of leisure vehicles.

If your vehicle doesn’t have a roof vent, we strongly recommend getting one. It’s a simple upgrade but one that can have far-reaching beneficial effects on your quality of van life!

Our roof vent range includes:

All roof vents will be professionally installed by our team of qualified technicians within an AWS-approved workshop in Goring-by-sea, West Sussex.

All parts and labour will be fully guaranteed.

Dometic Heki skylight vents come in three different sizes and four configurations.

The Dometic Heki Mini measures 520mm x 520mm x 400mm and tilts open to allow fresh air to enter the van.

The Dometic Heki Midi skylight measures 617mm x 846mm x 700mm and offers a larger aperture for venting the vehicle.

The Dometic Heki 2 and Heki 2 De Luxe skylight measures 790mm x 1080mm x 960mm and is a larger vent for air and light.

All Dometic Heki vents are available with optional screens to keep the light and insects out.

If there is already a vent, installation should take around 1 hour.

If there is no existing vent, we can create an opening and install the vent, which can take up to 8 hours depending on the vent and the vehicle.

All work will be performed by experienced technicians and will be fully guaranteed.

The benefits of roof vents for motorhomes, campervans and caravans

No matter how often you use a motorhome, campervan or caravan, it needs adequate airflow.

Fresh air helps reduce damp and condensation, helps refresh oxygen, exhausts carbon dioxide and odours and ensures your interior is a much nicer place to be.

If you have heating or cook inside your vehicle, a roof vent is even more important. Venting is essential to allow cooking smells to escape and ensure adequate oxygen is available while using gas.

A roof vent also helps control the temperature within the vehicle. It helps cool it in hot weather and avoids that stifling effect if you have van heating.

Of all the accessories we fit to motorhomes, campervans and caravans, the vent is one of the most important.

A standard vent with tilt opening can be enough for most types of leisure vehicle. A vent with a fan like the Maxxfan range adds extra airflow that can benefit larger vehicles with more occupants.
