At Motorhome Workshop, we recognise that your vehicle is more than just a means of getting from one place to another. Whether it’s for commercial, sport or leisure use, it’s a vital piece of transport you’ve invested time, money and effort in.

The fact we recognise this is your guarantee that we care about every vehicle that comes to us. Because at Motorhome Workshop we treat each project as if it’s our own vehicle we’re working on.

Experience and expertise

Our team is made up of an exceptional collection of individual expertise and technical talent. We enjoy the work that we do, and we’re pretty good at it – our collection of certification and qualifications is certainly testament to our high professional standards in workmanship and safety, including City & Guilds and ACOPS gas certifications.

We also have manufacturer-accreditations and training from Victron, Rolls, Alde, Domestic, Alko, VB Airsuspension, Waeco, Eberspacher Webasto, Reimo, Fiamma, Satfi, Motorhome WiFi, GasIt, Thetford, Truma, Thule.

We’re very interested in the industry, so we’re always looking at what’s new and assessing new services and products as they’re released. Everything we install has been tried and tested by us. This way, you can be sure that you’re being provided with the best performing, efficient products to suit your particular needs and vehicle.

AWS-approved company

Our independent, family-run Sussex workshop is fully AWS-accredited. This is the only scheme supported by all of the major UK leisure vehicle manufacturers, so you can be sure that your vehicle is in safe, professional hands. As part of our commitment to the high standards of the scheme, we provide:

  • Transparent pricing with labour charges specified – nothing hidden.
  • Free, no-obligation quotes for all of our work, including servicing, fitting, checks and repairs.
  • Assurance that no work will be carried out without permission and agreement. We’ll always get in touch first if there is any additional work arising (for example for repairs arising after checks or fault-finding).
  • Use of only the top quality, genuine spare parts.
  • Use of the highest quality products, fixtures, fittings and accessories.
  • Complete checklists of work, for your information and record-keeping.
  • Honest assessments which truly reflect the urgency of any repairs required.
  • Written notification of faults which cannot be rectified.
  • Clear time estimates for completion and collection.

Customers come first

For us, customers always come first. So whether you’d like additional support in understanding your options, or you’d like some professional input into a DIY van conversion, you can be sure we’ll be here for you.

When it comes to installations, we also prioritise what our customers need. Our installation services include extended tutorials and guidance as to how to use the items we’ve installed. This is particularly useful for those system installations, such as power and suspension, but also extremely valuable for getting the best use out of individual products such as batteries and reversing cameras.

Whatever we’ve fitted, we’ll take you through the set up and teach you how to use it so that you get the best possible performance and benefits from the product.

Leisure vehicle fitting in Sussex

Our workshop is based in West Sussex, easily accessible from many parts of the South. If you’re further afield, why not make a leisure trip of it?

Our booking system means you can be sure of the team being available on the day – and if you have a particular date window we’ll certainly try to accommodate it. Just contact us before booking to talk through what you need.

Of course, for our marine vessel services, we realise that coming to our workshop would certainly be expensive and probably impossible. So for our services for boat, yachts and narrowboats we’re happy to come to where the boat is.

We offer full warranties across all of our product fitting services.

We’re here to talk to you, not sell to you

Finally, we know what it’s like when all you want is some information but what you end up with is sales patter. For this reason, we don’t have salesmen – instead we have our dedicated technical helpline which you can use to discuss any project, large or small or ask your questions with confidence.

Our product advice is always based on your make and model of vehicle, your particular needs and specifications and our knowledge of the most suitable products – and we only ever offer advice based on what you could choose – so you can make up your own mind without any sales pressure.

As a family-run company, we pride ourselves on aiming high with the services we offer to our customers and aim to be the best independent vehicle specialist in the South.
