Citroën Relay camper conversion
The Citroën Relay is a similar size to the Volkswagen Transporter or Ford Transit, so is the ideal size for a camper. It’s easy to drive, offers great visibility out front and has enough space in the back for a full camper conversion.
The Citroën Relay uses the same body and chassis as the Peugeot Boxer and Fiat Ducato so we know it’s good and that it can handle a full conversion.
Thanks to a decent 2.2-litre diesel engine with two levels of tune (120hp or 140hp), the van has enough power to be able to cope with the extra weight of the van conversion without undue strain.
Like its French siblings, the Citroën Relay is easy to maintain. Parts are plentiful and most garages know how they work and how to fix them.
