Motorhome Levelling Systems
Motorhome Workshop can install and fit levelling systems to your vehicle to help it remain stable when on uneven terrain.
A levelling system will adjust your campervan or motorhome suspension until the chassis is level. It’s a simple idea but can transform your experience while on site!
Spend even one night on a hilly campsite or field pitch and you’ll quickly see how convenient it would be for your motorhome to have a self-levelling system.
No more having to use chocks or wedges and no more having to go around each wheel to see which needs a lift to keep your motorhome level.
If you experience any of the following, you need a levelling system:
-
- Vehicle rocks when it’s windy or when you enter or exit
- Sinks or drains don’t drain properly
- Interior doors keep falling open or won’t close properly
- Things don’t seem level or stable when parked on uneven ground
If you spend too much time checking and chocking wheels when parked or feel like you’re camping on a slope, you definitely need a levelling system!
Campervan self-levelling
Self-levelling hydraulics enable you to level your campervan or motorhome so it’s level. All wheels are firmly secured on the ground and the suspension adjusts so your chassis remains level.
If you’re parked on a slope or uneven pitch, you can quickly adjust the levelling system so the motorhome is level and you don’t experience any of those issues above.
The process is fully controllable and uses a sealed hydraulic system to adjust each wheel individually. It can provide a level regardless of the terrain you’re parked on.
The levelling system is separate from your vehicle’s suspension, so doesn’t impact ride quality or interfere with wheel or tyre changes.
Self-levelling systems also have safety features that can prevent you from driving away while in use, which can be very useful for those early starts!
Motorhome Workshop can install self-levelling systems for many makes of campervan and motorhome. All parts and labour are fully guaranteed and installations will be performed in an AWS-approved workshop in Goring-by-sea, West Sussex.
