Activates second battery charging when first battery is above 12.8v. Disconnects automatically when first battery is decreased below 12.8v.
This is perfect for vehicle to leisure battery charging whilst driving. Also, if the leisure battery is charged via solar or hook-up charger, when the leisure battery becomes full any additionally available power will charge the engine battery. This system works in both directions.
Cyrix-i battery combiners are an excellent replacement for diode isolators. The main feature is that there is virtually no voltage loss so that the output voltage of alternators or battery chargers does not need to be increased. The Cyrix-i battery combiner is a microprocessor controlled heavy duty relay that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of them has reached a preset voltage (indicating that the battery is being charged), and disconnects when the voltage decreases below float level (indicating that one or more batteries are being discharged).
